Help Ukraine Get Back on Its Feet

Help Ukraine Get Back on Its Feet

Imagine the devastation of a single step on a landmine that changes your life forever. Since the war began, an estimated 50,000 people in Ukraine have lost a limb, while there is a severe shortage of medical rehabilitation.

Ceriter is raising funds to help these war victims walk again.

How we help Ukrainian victims

As the war in Ukraine rages on, countless soldiers and civilians suffer from life-changing injuries. Ceriter Stride One helps amputees and people with severe walking impairments walk again with advanced walking therapy. It also reduces healthcare workers’ stress.

Stride One is a medically certified technology that facilitates the alignment of prostheses and provides real-time cueing therapy. This allows prosthetics to function more smoothly and efficiently, helping patients regain mobility and return to their daily lives faster.

We are raising €80,000 to deliver at least 20 Stride One devices to hospitals in Ukraine by the end of this year. Ukrainian medical specialist Ihor Vitenko assists with the distribution. The first delivery to the National Medical University in Ternopil has already been completed. The funds will be used to  provide these devices at cost, with full transparency as certified by an accountant. Check our progress here.

Act now. Your contribution truly makes a difference. Please donate, help spread this campaign, and be part of something transformative. Every contribution brings life-changing devices to Ukraine, enabling hundreds of patients to walk again.

"The emotional and physical scars are profound. Rehabilitation is not just about being able to walk again, but about restoring their sense of purpose in life and hope for the future. We are determined to support these brave individuals on their journey to a productive and fulfilling life."

In collaboration with Mission Ihor Vitenko

Their established reputation for delivering aid quickly and efficiently will bolster our campaign's success.

Why are we doing this?

In September 2024, our founder Piet visited large rehabilitation centers in Ternopil, Ukraine. He participated in Mission Ihor Vitenko, organized by Ihor, a Ukrainian doctor living in Belgium. During this mission, he delivered vehicles, including the 100th ambulance, and other medical supplies to hospitals affected by the war.

At the hospital of the Ternopil National Medical University, Stride One was tested. The responses of doctors and physical therapists were overwhelmingly positive, and they requested more devices to help even more soldiers.
